Witch Hazel Hamamelis virginiana

Lacy branches grown in vase-like form. Egg-shaped leaves to 6" long. Yellow to orange fall foliage.

Yellow ribbon-like petals. October.

Alba Rose Rosa X alba 'White Rose of York'

Full sun -- shade tolerant at base.

An old garden rose with climbing annual canes. Can train to trellis.

Clusters of small, very fragrant flowers. Dense if 6 hours of full sun. Blooms only in late spring.

Cornelian Cherry Dogwood Cornus mas

Sun to Partial Shade

Tall shrub; small, multi-branching tree. Leaves are oval, 3-4" long, turn reddish in fall.

Masses of long-lasting yellow umbels cover the naked branches in early spring. Scarlet fruit in late summer attracts birds.

Evergreen. Shiny holly-like leaves, turn bronze-purple in fall. Very sharp spines. Keep pruned to 3'

Clusters of fragrant, yellow flowers. Late winter or early spring.

Profuse white or pink blooms in late spring.
