WELCOME
We always welcome new members and donations to our small and tranquil garden. Membership dues are $20 per year, and helping out with the gardening and maintenance is purely optional. Your dues are used for purchasing plants, tools, upkeep and general maintenance, but not for salaries. We are an all volunteer garden and work because it's rewarding, we love gardening and we like hanging out with our neighbors. Monthly meetings are held the first Wednesday, May - September and all members are invited to attend. |
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER? You can download a membership form here, print it and mail it to us along with your check or you can pick up a form in the garden in the podium at the entrance. Or you can join at one of our membership drives, usually held at the end of May or early June. Dates will be posted at the garden for these events. You can also give a Gift Membership to another, just fill out the second page of the membership form or email us. A copy of the Gift Certificate can be found here. |
|
WHAT DOES BEING A MEMBER MEAN? Enjoying a green place to drink your coffee, read your book, meet your neighbors, bring your friends, your children or your dog (on a leash, of course) work on your laptop or just relax. Providing a service to the community by maintaining a green oasis. Giving yourself time to stop and smell the roses or listen to the birds and waterfall. Financially supporting the garden for future growth. |
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? You can be totally content with your membership as is, enjoying the garden whenever it's open, daily from 11 AM to 6 PM, April through October, (weather permitting) and attending any scheduled event of your choosing.
Or you
can contribute 4 hours of your time to the garden, attend just 2
meetings and receive the privilege of casting a vote in garden decisions. As a member you will receive emails concerning meetings, events, work projects, etc. in which you may or may not choose to participate. |
